Only phoenixes that went through nirvana would receive a blessing in disguise³因祸得福 (yīnhuò-défú) – to have some good come out of a bad situation (idiom) and be able to cultivate the Heartless Dao. Other cultivation methods weren’t as suitable as Heartless Dao for her anyway.

Qu Xuanzi continued, “The Great Dao is inherently heartless, but it has love for all beings. Cultivating the Heartless Dao is the fastest method to become a god, and you won’t need to suffer the pain of the heavenly thunder.
