The next day, after finishing his classes and feeding Tuan Tuan, Jian Ning checked the time and prepared to leave. However, Tuan Tuan held on to his pants, indicating that he wanted to go out as well.

“Feel free to help yourself,” the young man bowed slightly and then received a message on his wrist communicator. Apologizing, he left the aircraft.

Jian Ning opened the fridge, finding it filled with beverages. He took out a bottle of water and took a sip. Tuan Tuan wriggled out of the bag and nibbled on his sleeve, also wanting a drink.

“It’s too cold; I’ll let it warm up a bit before giving it to you,” Jian Ning placed the water outside and gently patted Tuan Tuan’s back to soothe him.

Zong Ye hadn’t arrived yet, and the young man had disappeared as well, leaving Jian Ning and Tuan Tuan alone in the aircraft. After feeding Tuan Tuan some water, Jian Ning felt a bit bored and noticed a few cups of attractive blue drinks in the refrigerator. Curious, he took one cup and had a small sip. It was sweet and quite tasty.

Taking another sip, he unknowingly finished the whole cup.

Seeing his dad drink continuously, Tuan Tuan became eager, scratching Jian Ning’s arm and wagging his tail anxiously, also wanting a taste.

“Let me give you a little sip,” not sure what the drink was, but since it tasted sweet, it shouldn’t be harmful. Jian Ning poured the last bit of the drink into his palm, and Tuan Tuan lapped it up quickly.

After finishing the drink and waiting for a while longer, Zong Ye still hadn’t shown up. Jian Ning needed to use the restroom and got up, but he felt a bit dizzy. He shook his head to clear it and carried Tuan Tuan to the bathroom.

Upon coming out of the restroom, the dizziness worsened, and Tuan Tuan’s little head swayed too, struggling to stay upright. Jian Ning held Tuan Tuan close, leaned against the sofa, and dozed off. In his dream, he slowly released his grip on Tuan Tuan’s hand, and the little round body rolled off his legs, landing on the carpet with a soft thud.

Still unconscious, Tuan Tuan closed his eyes and rolled under the sofa.

Zong Ye finished his meeting and saw Jian Ning sound asleep on the sofa as soon as he entered the aircraft. Zong Ye sat on the opposite sofa and gently pushed Jian Ning.

“Mmm, you’re here,” Jian Ning woke up, rubbing his eyes and smiled when he saw Zong Ye.

“I need to go to the restroom.” The drinks had bloated his stomach, and after rubbing his eyes, he muttered and stood up to walk towards the restroom. However, after taking a step, he swayed and fell onto Zong Ye’s lap.

“Sorry…” Jian Ning tried to stand up, pushing himself up with Zong Ye’s help. Once he stabilized, he took another step but stumbled and fell down again.

“Why can’t I stand steady…” he muttered softly. Zong Ye held his restless hand and glanced at the empty cup nearby, frowning as he asked, “What did you drink?”

“…A beverage.” Jian Ning licked his lips, still savoring the sweetness. “It was sweet.”

Zong Ye opened the fridge and noticed the missing cup of drink. He sighed and looked at the semi-conscious Jian Ning. It wasn’t a beverage; it was alcohol that Zong Ming had left there. It was quite potent, and one wouldn’t notice its effects immediately, but a few sips would make one intoxicated. Jian Ning had actually finished a whole cup.

“Stop holding onto me; I need to go to the restroom,” his stomach was really bloated. Jian Ning glared at Zong Ye with displeasure, struggling to get up.

“I’ll help him to the restroom,” the aide hurriedly intervened.

The aide assisted Jian Ning to the restroom and waited outside, fearing that Jian Ning might fall again. Thankfully, nothing happened, and Jian Ning came out safely. The aide helped him back to the sofa.

Finally feeling relieved, Jian Ning tried to sit properly on the sofa, still swaying a bit. He gazed at Zong Ye with a dazed look and said, “If you have something to say, say it.”

…He was already so drunk, what was there to say? Zong Ye propped his forehead with his hand and gestured to the aide helplessly, “Take him back to the academy.”

The aircraft directly entered the academy and stopped in front of Jian Ning’s dormitory. Jian Ning was already half asleep on the sofa. Zong Ye instructed the aide to contact Jian Ning’s dorm mates to pick him up.

After Terry came and took Jian Ning away, Zong Ye returned to the military base.

He remained busy until 9 o’clock in the evening, and only then did Zong Ye take the aircraft back to his villa.

At dawn, inside Zong Ye’s aircraft, Tuan Tuan crawled out from under the sofa, looking around and not finding anyone.

Huh, where’s Dad? Tuan Tuan raised his little paw and wiped his face. He roamed around the aircraft, but there was no sign of Jian Ning.

Oh well, where’s Dad? Tuan Tuan wiped his face with his paw again and strolled out of the aircraft through a ventilation vent.

After crawling out of the aircraft, Tuan Tuan dashed excitedly through a vast grassland. The gentle morning sunlight poured down, and dewdrops adorned the grass leaves.

Where am I? Perplexed, he circled around on the grassland, feeling disheartened that he couldn’t find Dad. He had to find his dad.

Suddenly, a beautiful insect with wings gracefully flew in the morning light. Tuan Tuan’s eyes brightened, completely forgetting about his earlier concerns, and wagging his tail, he chased after the insect.

Zong Ye didn’t have to go to the military base today. He had risen early, stood on the balcony to take a few breaths of fresh air, and was about to head downstairs when he noticed a fluffy little creature running around in the garden.

Zong Ye squinted and observed for a moment, then went downstairs to ask the butler, “Whose cub is running around in the garden?”

The butler, who was having the servants set up the dining table, was puzzled and replied, “What garden?”

Zong Ye gestured outside with a lift of his chin, and the butler walked to the door to take a look. He noticed a round and snow-white little creature on the distant grassland.

“It should be from a neighboring family that wandered in,” the butler said, walking toward the little creature.

The little fellow noticed someone approaching, raised its ears in alertness, and took a step back. It looked young but quite wary. While the butler was still pondering, the little creature suddenly brightened and dashed away from him.

Confused, the butler turned around and found Zong Ye following behind. The little creature ran to Zong Ye’s feet, nibbling on his pants and making whimpering sounds.

Whimpering, whimpering, Dad, quickly take me back to my father. Tuan Tuan shouted.

Zong Ye bent down, lifted the little creature’s neck, and examined it up and down. He raised his head and asked the butler, “Did Zong Ming come back last night? When did he acquire a son outside?”

“…Young Master Second came back very late last night; he’s probably still sleeping,” the butler replied.

This little creature was clearly a wolf cub, completely snow-white without any mixed colors. It was a spitting image of the two young masters from the Zong family when they were young. It was undoubtedly a Zong family bloodline.

The elder master graduated with outstanding performance from the military academy and went to battlefields to fight the enemy, rarely having interactions with females. On the other hand, the second young master was promiscuous and featured in tabloid headlines on StellarNet every month. This little cub could only belong to the second young master.

“Go wake him up.” Zong Ye turned back towards the house, carrying the little cub. The butler followed along and noticed how Zong Ye was holding the cub by its neck, and the poor little thing was flailing in the air. Unable to bear it, the butler said, “Young Master, you can’t carry him like that. You should hold him properly.”

Zong Ye lowered his head and saw the little cub’s jet-black eyes staring at him with round innocence. With a clicking sound, he sighed and then cradled the cub in his arms.

“I’ll go call the Second Young Master.” Inside the living room, the butler quickly went upstairs to fetch Zong Ming.

Breakfast was already laid out on the dining table, and Tuan Tuan, who hadn’t eaten anything last night, was already hungry. He nibbled on Zong Ye’s sleeve, looking eagerly at the food.

“He’s so small, what can he eat?” Zong Ye lifted the cub’s neck again and locked eyes with him.

The butler returned quickly and said, “Second Young Master will be down in a moment.”

“He seems hungry, get him something to eat,” Zong Ye handed the cub to the butler, instructing him.

“Yes, Young Master,” the butler carried the little cub into the kitchen.

When Zong Ming lazily came down from upstairs, Zong Ye was already sitting at the dining table, having breakfast. Tuan Tuan sat at his left, bowing his head and licking the milk in his bowl.

“What’s this?” Zong Ming sat across from Zong Ye and glanced at the little cub, who was still preoccupied with drinking milk. He raised an eyebrow in surprise. “Is this your son?”

Zong Ye paused with his knife and fork, looked up at him, and asked, puzzled, “Isn’t he your son?”

“…Who said he’s my son?” Zong Ming looked bewildered. “No, where did this little fellow come from?”

Zong Ye wiped his mouth with a napkin and said, “I found him in the garden this morning.”

He looked at Zong Ming and asked again, “Really not your son? With all those relationships you have outside, someone might secretly have given birth to your child.”

Zong Ming exclaimed in injustice, “Of course not! Even with my numerous relationships, I still have boundaries. No one could secretly give birth to my child.”

Zong Ye glanced at the whimpering little cub still drinking milk and furrowed his brows in confusion. Then, whose cub was this?

In the dormitory, Jian Ning sat up from his bed, rubbing his eyes, and looked around in confusion. This seemed to be his room. Wasn’t he waiting for Zong Ye on the aircraft?

He got off the bed, put on his shoes, and opened the door to go out. Terry was coming out of the kitchen with a plate of fried eggs. When he saw Jian Ning, he placed the plate on the dining table and said, “You’re awake.”

“Is it already morning?” He looked at the morning light outside the window and then at the time on the wall, startled.

“Yeah, you got drunk last night, and the Marshal brought you back.” Terry had been quite curious last night, but Jian Ning was so drunk that he fell asleep as soon as he got on the bed. Now that he was awake, Terry quickly asked, “What happened to you last night? How did you end up with the Marshal?”

“…It’s a bit of a long story.” Jian Ning vaguely mentioned the drink he had last night, and suddenly, he paused and asked, “Where’s Tuan Tuan?”

“Isn’t he in your room?” Terry said, “But I haven’t heard any noise from him today. Normally, he’s already playing on the sofa by this time.”

Jian Ning’s heart skipped a beat, and he quickly went back to his room, searching every corner and the bag but couldn’t find Tuan Tuan.

He remembered that Tuan Tuan also had a sip of that drink last night. He took out his communicator and called Zong Ye.
