Transmigrated As Cannon Fodder Omega, Their Knees Bent Chapter 8

 Chapter 8: Fight

The intelligent printer’s display screen showed three letters: QAQ!

Lou Ting didn’t even bother to glance at it and continued placing his hand on another corner.

The screen swiftly scrolled through dozens of codes and then spat out several banknotes from the money slot with a ‘shua shua shua’ sound.

The intelligent printer, missing four corners, went silent: “…”

It was so angry that it crashed.

Just as Lou Ting was thinking about how to further educate the printer and make it print out the divorce agreement, Long Shixuan stormed out with a grim face.

Lou Ting asked, “What’s wrong?”

Even if he wasn’t happy, he wouldn’t be so infuriated while meeting his idol, right?

“It’s nothing.” Long Shixuan shook his head. “I’m no longer a fan of Zhan Yunqi.”

Lou Ting raised an eyebrow. “Huh?”

Long Shixuan had been holding his breath, not wanting to speak, but he couldn’t hold back his frustration and finally let out a sigh.

“Lu Mingyu is inside! They…they are recording a video.” Long Shixuan gritted his teeth. “As soon as the manager saw me, they kicked me out. I told them about the ticket number, and the manager took my ticket and told me it was invalid!”

While speaking, Long Shixuan couldn’t help but glance at Lou Ting.

It seemed like he wanted to say something but couldn’t bring himself to do it.

“Just say it directly.”

“Lu Mingyu complained and revealed some things about you.” Long Shixuan’s voice involuntarily lowered. Lu Mingyu exaggerated the complaint, and Zhan Yunqi’s words were disgusting. He didn’t know how to tell Lou Ting.

Moreover, he didn’t know if he should say it or not.

He was also a fan in the entertainment circle, but Lou Ting’s popularity wasn’t high, and he didn’t have many fans to support him. Going against Zhan Yunqi would only result in losses. Now, because Lou Ting helped him, it was evident that Zhan Yunqi took note of him.

Thinking about this, he felt somewhat guilty.

Lou Ting, seeing his hesitant expression, could guess that the things Lu Mingyu mentioned in his complaint might not be pleasant to hear.

However… he didn’t care about those things.

Lou Ting said, “There’s no need to bother with him.”

“Mmm!” Long Shixuan nodded. “I also think it’s best to ignore them… Lou, Lou Ting, you should go first. You should go back.”

The change in tone was too sudden, and Lou Ting didn’t catch it clearly. “What?”

“Go? Did I give you permission to leave?” Zhan Yunqi arrogantly approached, taking large strides. “Are you afraid I’ll cause trouble for you? Why did you come so late?”

Looking at Lou Ting’s face, he impatiently said, “You don’t even know how to cover up when you go out. I feel nauseous just looking at your face.”

Lou Ting crossed his arms and observed him. “If you’re pregnant, go to the hospital. It’s not mine, so why are you telling me?”

Zhan Yunqi’s smiling expression immediately vanished. “You may not be good-looking, but your mouth is sharp.”

Lou Ting retorted, “At least I have some merits unlike you.”

Lu Mingyu, afraid that his idol would get angry, quickly said, “Yunqi ge, don’t get angry. He’s intentionally trying to provoke you with his words. There are so many people watching, and if they capture it and spread it online, you’ll be criticized again.”

Upon hearing this, Zhan Yunqi coldly chuckled. “Trying to scheme against me? Go and dream your big dreams.” With that, he signaled his manager with a glance, and the manager turned to handle the surrounding crowd.

Zhan Yunqi said, “Lou Ting, let me ask you, do you know who Lu Mingyu is? You dare to fight even with him. Are you not interested in surviving in this industry?”

Lou Ting calmly replied, “I don’t know, and I don’t care. Whether or not I can survive is not up to him.”

Long Shixuan couldn’t help but express his anger. “Lu Mingyu took my ticket first, and you blindly took his side without knowing the full story?”

“And who do you think you are? Do you have the right to speak here?” Zhan Yunqi showed a disdainful attitude, not putting him in his eyes at all. “It’s just a ticket. If Young Master Lu wants it, you should give it to him. If you don’t give it, you resort to violence. Do you have any manners?”

“Me?” Long Shixuan almost laughed in anger. Zhan Yunqi’s sycophantic behavior made him feel disgusted.

He couldn’t believe he had once been a serious fan of this person. Now he wanted to delete all the previous records!

“Lu Mingyu has been pampered by his family since childhood. Can’t you, as an adult, tolerate a little? Why must you clash with a child?” Zhan Yunqi smirked maliciously, glancing at the people around. There weren’t many left. Some were driven away by his manager, and the remaining ones pretended to be busy with their own affairs, but their eyes occasionally glanced over here.

Zhan Yunqi said, “Look at how you’ve bullied this child. Let me tell you, if you don’t provide a reasonable solution today, this matter won’t be resolved so easily.”

Lu Mingyu was overbearing and a bully, how could Zhan Yunqi be able to say such words with a generous attitude.

“You—” Long Shixuan’s face turned red with anger. “You have no shame!”

“Heh, and you have the nerve to speak?” Zhan Yunqi said. “If it weren’t for you, Young Master Lu wouldn’t have been beaten. Do you think you can escape?”

Zhan Yunqi was used to being domineering in the entertainment industry, with people protecting him from behind. Moreover, the person standing beside him was Young Master Lu from the Lu family. If he stood up for Young Master Lu, he might gain the favor of the Lu family.

Thinking like this, Zhan Yunqi looked at Lu Mingyu, his smile becoming genuine. “Young Master, tell me how you want them to apologize.”

“Lou Ting grabbed my hand,” Lu Mingyu said indignantly. “I want him—”

He suddenly paused, glancing at  Zhang Yunqi, then at Lou Ting. He cautiously said, “I… If I act so aggressively, will it affect you?”

“No, how could it?” Zhan Yunqi said with his manager handling the situation. “Don’t worry.”

Lu Mingyu pursed his lips but didn’t say anything excessive. Instead, he said, “Lou Ting, let’s shake hands and make peace, for the sake of Yunqi ge’s face.”

The sudden change in tone was unexpected, but if Lu Mingyu deeply loved Zhan Yunqi, as his loyal fan, he would be pleased if his idol stood up for him after an incident.

At the same time, he might choose to settle things peacefully to avoid affecting his idol.

However… Lou Ting crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow, remaining silent.

Zhan Yunqi said, “Really? Despite how he treated you, you still want to let him off the hook. Young Master Lu, you’re so kind-hearted, but you’re easily taken advantage of.”

Lu Mingyu said, “Of course, it’s true.”

To prove his words, Lu Mingyu took the initiative to approach Lou Ting and said, “I was wrong to bully you. But you also beat me up. Let’s call it even. Long Shixuan, you’re not allowed to leak a single word about today’s incident, especially about the ticket issue. I won’t hold you responsible anymore. What do you think?”

Long Shixuan said, “I agree.”

“What about you, Lou Ting?” Lu Mingyu reached out his hand, wanting to shake hands with him. “If you agree, we’ll make peace.”

Though the change in attitude was abrupt, it seemed like the actions of a good fan who cared for his idol. Why bother coming forward to support you like this if it wasn’t for his idol’s sake?

Lou Ting’s eyes narrowed slightly, and he saw something on Lu Mingyu’s wrist. He sneered inwardly but didn’t show it on his face. He extended his hand, following his intentions…

Just as their hands were about to meet, Lu Mingyu suddenly took out a paper cutter from his sleeve without a word and stabbed it towards Lou Ting!

Lou Ting was already on guard and struck Lu Mingyu’s hand from behind!

“Ah!”

A loud clang echoed.

The cutter fell to the ground.

Lou Ting calmly unfastened the buckle on his wrist, glanced at Lu Mingyu, and said, “Wasn’t the previous lesson enough?”

These words felt like a bone-chilling winter wind, causing Lu Mingyu to shiver involuntarily.

Ignoring the numb pain in his wrist, Lu Mingyu ran back to Zhan Yunqi’s side.

Zhan Yunqi positioned himself in front of Lu Mingyu, blocking him. “Lou Ting, what do you think you’re doing?!”

Lou Ting stepped forward, stepping on the paper cutter and lightly flicking its back with the tip of his toe, causing the knife to fly up and spin before he caught it in his hand.

Facing Zhan Yunqi’s disdainful gaze, Lou Ting sneered. “You want to protect him?”

Zhan Yunqi clenched his teeth but remained silent.

“Fine.” Lou Ting’s index finger grazed the edge of the paper cutter as he said coldly, “Then it’s your turn.”

The next moment, Lou Ting suddenly appeared in front of him, and Zhan Yunqi’s eyes widened in alarm. “What are you—uh, ah!”

“Yunqi ge!” Lu Mingyu exclaimed.

Even the manager widened their eyes and looked in their direction. “Yunqi!”

Zhan Yunqi’s vision blurred.

Lou Ting held his neck with one hand, pressing him against the wall, while his other hand held the paper cutter against Zhan Yunqi’s cheek.

In Lou Ting’s hand, Zhan Yunqi was like a lightweight doll, easily squashed and manipulated.

“Let… huff, huff…” Zhan Yunqi struggled to breathe, but he dared not move recklessly, afraid of the knife cutting his face.

“Lou Ting, have you gone mad?! Release Yunqi now!” The manager rushed forward, ready to strike him.

Long Shixuan couldn’t be of much help, but he quickly stepped forward, spreading his arms to stop the manager.

The manager desperately tried to push forward but was firmly held back by Long Shixuan. He shouted, “Someone come quickly! Security! Where are the security guards?!”

Ironically, despite Lou Ting and Zhan Yunqi causing such a commotion, the security guards had not shown up until now. But now, when Zhan Yunqi was in danger, within a minute, the security guards arrived.

“Release him now! Otherwise, don’t blame us for taking drastic measures!” the security guards warned, brandishing their weapons.

It was too noisy.

Lou Ting’s eyebrows slightly furrowed as he looked at the barely conscious Zhan Yunqi.

The icy paper cutter pressed against his face, its sharp blade seemingly grazing his skin, ready to cut his face at any moment!

Zhan Yunqi’s eyes were wide with anger. “You dare to touch me?!”

“Watch your mouth,” Lou Ting replied.

He tossed Zhan Yunqi aside and looked up at Lu Mingyu, who stood at the center.

Lu Mingyu trembled again. “W-What do you want?”

Lou Ting didn’t do anything, not even saying a word, but it was enough to frighten Lu Mingyu.

“Lou Ting, what are you doing?!” The director arrived late at this moment, looking at the fallen Zhan Yunqi, feeling a sudden panic. “Quickly apologize to Young Master Lu!”

Lou Ting’s temple throbbed. He thought for a moment and realized that if he hit the director, there was no possibility of continuing with the show.

Suddenly, Zhan Yunqi, who was behind Lou Ting, grabbed the paper cutter and raised it high–

Sensing something abnormal, Lou Ting leaned to the side, but he saw something swiftly pass before his eyes!

“Bang!”

The round object flew straight towards Zhan Yunqi’s face.

Zhan Yunqi didn’t even have time to let out a scream before he collapsed to the ground.

Due to the inertia, the basketball bounced forward.

“Thud.”

“Thud.”

“Thud.”

“If you can’t solve the problem, just find someone without power and influence to be a scapegoat and pacify the situation. Is this Director Zhao’s way of handling things? He really broadened my horizons,” a voice said.

Lou Ting suddenly raised his gaze.

He Yezhou walked into the hall, lightly nodding his head from a distance toward Lou Ting.

I’m…so confused. He thinks he can’t enter the show if he hits the director, but he’ll be able to enter if he hurts a big star there? With loads of influence? And would the star be so openly evil in front of a fan? Not even trying to act like he’s forced to follow Lu, but openly kicking the fan out in disgust? How could he be so beloved if he’s not even hiding his nastiness? Even the brother to mc was openly mocking mc and somehow the ogmc didn’t notice it? Didn’t hear his blatant words of malice? The story makes no sense.
But thanks for the chapters anyway!
