Han Jin sneered, “Do you think I’ve done nothing in this city for the past six months?”

Zheng Jue instantly felt a sense of unease and asked, “What have you done?”

While speaking, Han Jin didn’t blink as he observed Zheng Jue’s changing complexion. He watched him deflate completely, then slowly walked up to Zheng Jue, leaned down, and whispered in his ear, “Zheng Jue, you better never think of leaving me in this lifetime!”

Zheng Jue felt a chill run down his spine. He squinted at the young man standing in front of him, this version of Han Jin felt like a stranger.

“Han Jin, what exactly do you want?” Zheng Jue practically gritted his teeth as he uttered these words.

Han Jin’s expression was infatuated as he gently caressed Zheng Jue’s cheek and kissed his eye. Zheng Jue wanted to move away, but Han Jin held him by the waist.

“Zheng Jue, it’s best not to avoid me any longer,” Han Jin almost menacingly whispered in Zheng Jue’s ear, “Otherwise, I don’t know what I might do.”

Zheng Jue closed his eyes slightly, and at this moment, he finally understood Zhou Cheng’an’s words. The present Han Jin was truly dangerous!

Regardless of Zheng Jue’s reaction, Han Jin held onto him and leaned in for a kiss. This sudden move filled Zheng Jue with anger. What did Han Jin want? Was he treating him as some forbidden object?

With a few swift moves, Zheng Jue broke free from Han Jin’s grasp and kicked him off the bed.

He watched Han Jin, who sat on the ground, supporting himself with his hands, and frowned, saying, “Don’t act recklessly.”

Han Jin suddenly smiled nervously, lowering his head. “Act recklessly? Zheng Jue, do you know how many times I’ve daydreamed about you in my heart? I’ve lost count myself. I was just foolish back then and didn’t want to force you. Now, do you think you have any qualifications to resist me?”

As he spoke, Han Jin lifted his head, his face contorted. Zheng Jue was momentarily taken aback by his appearance and frowned, saying, “Han Jin, be more rational!”

“Rational?” He smirked, raising an eyebrow. “Why didn’t you think about me the day you left? It’s too late to say these things now, don’t you think?”

Zheng Jue couldn’t find the words to respond, looking at him in silence.

Han Jin observed Zheng Jue’s reaction and chuckled sarcastically, “Zheng Jue, you knew my feelings for you long ago, and now you should have realized the situation clearly. Some things need not be said.”

Zheng Jue gazed at Han Jin, tightly clenching his fists. He couldn’t believe that the young man who once looked at him with adoration was now speaking to him in such a frivolous manner. And this outcome seemed to be brought upon himself. It felt as though his heart was being squeezed, causing him immense pain.

“Han Jin, don’t be like this,” he almost gritted out.

“Don’t be like this? You’ve tried to escape from me twice. What else can I do?” Han Jin almost sneered.

He stood up from the floor and sat on a chair opposite Zheng Jue.

Zheng Jue looked at Han Jin and faintly curved his lips, “You… don’t you already have a fiancée? My leaving or not shouldn’t matter!”

“A fiancée?” Han Jin’s face lit up with excitement, and he almost couldn’t help but burst into laughter. “Zheng Jue, do you think I would still have a fiancée? When you saw me with a woman, you didn’t even bother asking me, but instead sentenced me to death in your heart. Zheng Jue, have you ever heard that you’re truly an arrogant bastard?”

Upon hearing him deny having a fiancée, Zheng Jue inexplicably felt relieved, though his face still held a cold demeanor, “Han Jin, no matter what, I’ve wronged you. But since it has come to this, let’s part on good terms.”

As he said these words, he felt a pang of pain in his heart, but he had to sever this doomed fate with his own hands. He couldn’t bear the risks behind him any longer.

However, seeing Zheng Jue sticking to his answer, Han Jin’s whole demeanor twisted. He almost lunged forward and grabbed Zheng Jue’s shoulder, sternly demanding, “Is this your answer? Even if I work myself to death to fight for Han Corporation’s position, it still won’t change your determination to leave? Zheng Jue, tell me, why are you leaving?”

Looking at Han Jin’s desperate eyes, Zheng Jue felt a twinge of sympathy. He turned away, unable to look at Han Jin directly, and pursed his trembling lips, remaining silent.

Han Jin glared at Zheng Jue, seething with rage. He couldn’t believe Zheng Jue wouldn’t even look at him.

Han Jin’s eyes lit up with a twisted grin as he observed Zheng Jue’s reaction. Suddenly, he went mad and started tearing at Zheng Jue’s clothes. Zheng Jue was taken aback, trying to shake off Han Jin’s grip, but he was restrained by handcuffs, and Han Jin had control over his legs, making it difficult for him to break free.

“What madness has gotten into you?” Zheng Jue shouted sternly, feeling a deeper sense of anger.

“I truly am insane, Zheng Jue. Ever since the day you left, I’ve gone mad,” Han Jin replied, unfazed by Zheng Jue’s struggles, continuing to tear at his clothes.

As the pain surged through Han Jin’s side, he turned pale, but his grip on Zheng Jue’s waist remained firm, showing no signs of letting go.

Han Jin smirked at Zheng Jue in a strange way and suddenly reached out to caress his face, whispering, “Perhaps I should have given in to my impulses long ago.”

Zheng Jue, now agitated, retorted, “Han Jin, don’t be impulsive!”

Han Jin’s eerie smile persisted as he looked at Zheng Jue. Suddenly, he leaned in and kissed Zheng Jue, causing blood to stain their lips, creating an oddly intriguing sight against Zheng Jue’s pale complexion.

Mesmerized by his own actions, Han Jin seemed to be in a trance, but Zheng Jue seized the opportunity and quickly flipped them over, overpowering Han Jin.

Even with his hands still cuffed to the bed, Zheng Jue pinned down Han Jin, holding him in place with his legs. With his free hand, Zheng Jue retrieved the key from Han Jin’s pocket, unlocking the handcuffs.

Throughout the entire struggle, Han Jin remained laid back, showing no resistance.

Once freed from the handcuffs, Zheng Jue rose from the bed, keeping Han Jin under his control with his legs. A complex expression appeared on Zheng Jue’s face as he looked down at Han Jin. “What’s going on in your mind?”

Han Jin laughed suddenly, but this time it was different, with a touch of gentleness, reminiscent of when they were still together.

Moving closer to Zheng Jue’s ear, Han Jin whispered, “You still don’t know how I feel?” As he spoke, his hand wandered along Zheng Jue’s waist.

Zheng Jue felt as if he were under a spell, completely frozen. He was now mostly undressed by Han Jin, who was running his hands sensually over Zheng Jue’s skin. It felt like he was on fire, every inch of him burning.

Han Jin smirked silently, getting closer and kissing the corner of Zheng Jue’s mouth, teasingly asking, “Can you stop now?” As he spoke, he provocatively pressed against Zheng Jue’s lower body.

Zheng Jue’s anger flared up, and he grabbed Han Jin’s hand that was touching him, looking at Han Jin’s smirking eyes with reddened eyes. He sternly said, his voice trembling slightly, “Stop it!”

Han Jin’s smirk remained as he responded to Zheng Jue’s resistance with an affectionate kiss, reminiscent of their most intimate moments together. Han Jin willingly opened his mouth, allowing Zheng Jue to ravish his lips and tongue.

When Han Jin was a bit breathless, Zheng Jue finally ended the passionate kiss. Han Jin smiled and lifted his legs, encircling Zheng Jue’s waist, whispering teasingly in his ear, “Is this all you’ve got?”

Zheng Jue’s breath hitched, and he firmly caught the sensitive spot on Han Jin’s neck, greedily sucking on the soft skin. The air was filled with an intoxicating atmosphere. With a sense of urgency, Zheng Jue’s hand explored Han Jin’s smooth thigh, moving upward until he grabbed the softness of his behind.

His rough massaging elicited a mix of pleasure and a touch of cruelty. Zheng Jue looked at the man beneath him, realizing that this person was the once-aloof Han Jin, now submitting willingly, his face blushing, and a look of infatuation.

Zheng Jue’s last thread of reason collapsed at this moment. Han Zi Zhang’s threats and their entanglement in their past life vanished, leaving only the man before him and his captivated demeanor.

Zheng Jue didn’t want to lose this side of Han Jin. He leaned down, tearing away the last bit of covering on Han Jin, and fully surrendered to the ocean of desire.

Han Jin held Zheng Jue’s back tightly, looking somewhat dazedly into the void behind Zheng Jue. A strange smile flashed across his lips as he decided to sink together, never leaving his side.
