Translator’s Note: So few days back, I made a poll on Twitter and Discord for readers to decide whether I should change 叶冰裳 Ye Bing Shang (in my translation) to Ye Bingchang (same as radio drama and drama) because it might be confusing.
The reason why I used Shang instead of Chang:
1. My Chinese isn’t that good and I don’t know that apparently certain words have to follow a certain way when you use them for a name (pinyin shang is normally used for clothes 衣裳 only and anything else, it’s pronounced as chang)
2. Bingshang sounds smoother than Bingchang.
However, combining the votes from both platforms, majority voted to leave it the way it is, so I won’t be changing it!

I wonder when did TTJ planned on telling her about her grandmother. If he told her at the tower, things might have been different but we never know the outcomes as it was already too late. It may seemed meaningless but it showed that TTJ learned to honour his promises despite still possessing the evil bones in him because of Ye XIWu/Li Susu influence. Before, he used to careless about it back at the peach blossom act.
TTJ no longer resented the acacia flowers as they became a constant reminder of her. They fit him perfectly as its name means secret love in the language of flowers. I know that meaning will play a big role in the future
I actually read in one of the reviews in NU that YBS stolen something from the little birdy LSS (not YXW) and that’s the reason she’s loved by many men. So, I guess beautiful woman (who gave her the flying flute to escort her home, but YBS repaid her with self-justified ingratitude) was LSS’ mother. 😐 That’ll surely deepen LSS’ dislike for her.
Should I watch the drama too?? I just found out that BaiLu plays the main cast in this, she’s one of the very few chinese actress i know. But I’m worried that too many points in the story are changed in the drama 🫣
