Qiu Yanping didn’t hesitate when he felt someone taking advantage of him for no reason. He muttered, “Little ghost,” under his breath. It wouldn’t make sense not to retort. Stepping out of the darkness, he stood confidently in the well-lit area, squinted his eyes, and teased, “What’s the matter? You won’t come out? Are you trying to act all high and mighty?”
Laughter emanated from the shadows, an unpleasant sound. “Seeking momentary satisfaction with words will leave you clueless about how you’ll meet your end.”
Qiu Yanping smirked.
“I didn’t expect someone to still understand these mystical arts. Seeing this, Qiu Yanping quickly affixed a talisman paper to her shoulders, igniting two spiritual flames, firmly immobilizing her.
