This voice pulled Gu Xi’s mind back.

He stared blankly at what he was doing and saw his broken skin and the blood on his arm. He wanted to respond to Rong Jing but because he was in such a hurry, he forgot that his feet were full of suds. With a bang, he fell on the floor hard.

He sprained his ankle. With his body facing down, Gu Xi couldn’t even make a sound because his body hurt so much. He heard ringing in his ears, making him unable to hear a thing and dizzy.

Rong Jing was just about to leave when he heard a loud crash followed by silence. His eyebrows jumped, and he walked back quickly to the door, knocked on the door and shouted hesitantly, “Gu Xi?”

Thinking of Gu Xi sitting alone in the rain and the many suicdal attempts in the original story, Rong Jing suddenly felt a chill run down his spine. Almost without thinking, he raised his foot and kicked open the bathroom door.

Seeing the person lying in the pool of bloody soap foam, not, moving, at, all, Rong Jing’s scalp went numb.
