Feng Wuhen is about to die, but it’s a pity that the person he loves doesn’t care. Moreover, the person he loves has someone else in his heart. Even worse, the person he loves only feels hatred towards Feng Wuhen.
After sacrificing himself — particularly his life in secrecy — in the hopes of gaining even just a little bit of affection from his beloved, all he got was a cold shoulder and a castigating gaze. Still, with a little hope, he almost begged, “Molan, remember to come back in September.”
Yet, as the cold autumn blew through the fallen leaves, he closed his eyes in loneliness, never seeing the person he was hoping for.
When Shen Molan learned of each of his sacrifices, all that was waiting for him was an empty manor, white silk banners… and a nameless memorial tablet.
Author’s Note
This ancient novel was dog blood (melodramatic) and heart-wrenching, containing extreme despair and mourning. Those who plan to read this story must be cautious and prepared to be subjected to exceeding pain.
