TPE Chapters 45-46

Chapter 45

It was the eve of the New Year. Dazzling fireworks covered the entire night sky, illuminating the darkness. Jiang Si watched the fireworks with curiosity, disregarding the palace maids, and ran out of Hanzhang Palace.

Honglian was chasing behind Jiang Si with her jewel-studded shoes, shouting at the top of her voice, “Your Majesty, wait up! At least just put your shoes on! Don’t injure your feet!” Behind Honglian were a group of palace servants, but all of them did not dare to press Jiang Si too hard, or they might be slaughtered if she became distressed!

Jiang Si was still wearing her cloth socks, and the corridors were covered with red tiles which were usually cleaned many times a day, so it would not hurt her feet at all. She raced in the direction of the fireworks, all the way to the Imperial Garden. However, there were many people there, so she hesitated when she reached there, not knowing whether she should walk towards the crowd.

There was also a banquet in the palace, where all the officials above third-rank had to bring their family into the palace to shousui. All of them were wondering if the Empress would appear tonight, but if she didn’t, it meant that she wasn’t fully cured yet. And when that happened, it would be possible that the Empress Dowager might put up a petition to remove the Empress.

True enough, placed at the highest platform was a lonesome dragon throne. Right below it was the Empress Dowager’s seat, followed by Consort Yu’s seat. Consort Yu  was dressed in a ruby red official palace outfit, and her hair was pulled up into a topknot, coupled with a ruby headdress. She looked elegant and classy, attracting the attention of everyone. She was the most outstanding lady, outshining all the other women in the room.

The banquet had just started when the Empress Dowager asked intentionally, “Why isn’t the Empress joining tonight’s banquet?”

Honglian led all the servants in kneeling down, begging the Emperor to spare their lives. Jiang Si was shocked by this sudden state of affairs. Fengzhen had been gentle towards her all this while, and she had never seen him in a rage.

When Fengzhen saw Jiang Si taking a step back with fear in her eyes, he swallowed his anger and gently held Jiang Si’s hand, as he told her, “Don’t be naughty. Next time, you need to wear your shoes when you get out of bed, alright?”

Jiang Si seemed to have understood his words, and she nodded her head. When Fengzhen saw that she was acting obediently, he carried her up and brought her to his throne under the astonished looks of everyone in the Imperial Garden, then sat her down on her lap.

[1] 守岁 (shǒu suì) – An ancient Chinese tradition, literally meaning “guarding the age”. It is believed that the longer the younger family members can stay awake, the longer the older generation will live in return.

Chapter 46

Jiang Si sat on Fengzhen’s lap and leaned against his muscular chest as she pointed at the cakes on the table. He had taken care of her for so long, naturally he knew what she wanted. He used a wooden pick to take a piece of dumpling pastry and handed it to her.

Jiang Si smiled sweetly at him, then kissed the corner of his lips before happily eating the dumpling. Everyone in the Imperial Garden lowered their heads, trying to hide their astonishment. At the same time, Fengzhen cleared his throat awkwardly. When they were alone, he would demand a kiss before he gave her whatever she wanted to eat. But now, she had openly displayed their little secret, scaring everyone in the garden.

Fengzhen placed his hand onto Jiang Si’s b*m, then pinched the flesh there softly. She was such a mischievous girl, he would teach her a lesson when they returned to her palace!

Jiang Si hissed in pain, and turned to him, not knowing why he was acting that way. The pastry crumbs were stuck on the corners of her lips, and Fengzhen sighed when he saw that, as he used his thumb to wipe it off for her. Jiang Si continued to lord over him, and pushed the rest of the pastry that she didn’t want into his mouth.

In Hanzhang Palace, Fengzhen would eat Jiang Si’s leftovers often enough, but they were in public now. As a man, and even the ruler of the country, this was a blow to his dignity, particularly when he was faced with this group of people who were trying to pretend that they didn’t see this.

“Her Majesty! How could you feed your leftovers to His Majesty?” Consort Yu questioned Jiang Si immediately.

But Jiang si simply took a plum blossom cake and ate it. She didn’t even raise her head, because she didn’t know that Consort Yu was speaking to her. In her mind, she only remembered being addressed as “Si’er”, “Darling”, or “Baby”.

Fortunately, his Si’er didn’t understand what Consort Yu was saying, but Fengzhen’s face was already sullen. How dare Consort Yu question Jiang Si! He didn’t even dare to chide her or say anything bad to her!

“Consort Yu, how insolent! Who are you to question the Empress!”

Consort Yu knelt down pitifully when she saw Fengzhen’s furious expression. She really didn’t understand what was wrong with her cousin, the Emperor. She could understand that he had been bewitched by Jiang Si in the past, but now that this woman had gone mad, he was still pampering her like a treasure. She really felt that it wasn’t fair!

Fengzhen waved his hand and said, “I’m tired. Let’s end this.” Before waiting for the people to see him off, he carried Jiang Si and left the Imperial Garden.

After this night, everyone in the Imperial Court knew that Her Majesty was still being pampered, and had an unwavering position in His Majesty’s heart. On the contrary, Consort Yu had completely offended His Majesty!

Back at Hanzhang Palace, Fengzhen fed Jiang Si first, before eating a little himself. Then, he waved his hand and dismissed the servants from the room. The servants blushed, as they knew that this was a signal that the Emperor wanted to bestow his grace upon the Empress, and they hastily withdrew from the room.

On the bed, the couple was separated from the outside world by the layers of lace curtains. Jiang Si was wearing an ivory coloured dudou, and her chest was protruding proudly. Only a single white strap held the dudou in place. She was also wearing a pair of silk bottoms which looked simple, but when she shook her legs, one would notice that the centre of the bottoms, right between her thighs, were not sewn together. In fact, one could even vaguely see her pink flower lips.

Fengzhen had already shed all his clothes, and the organ between his legs was already standing tall and erect. The purplish-red dragon root was covered by the bulging green veins, looking extremely terrifying.

Jiang Si was still playing with her fingers when Fengzhen stuck close to her and hugged her from behind. His hard dragon head was poking at the folds of her b*tt, and his hand rubbed her chest, as he coaxed her, “Baby… Shall we play a game tonight?”

True enough, at the mention of a game, Jiang Si’s interest was piqued, and she looked expectantly at Fengzhen.
